Biography

Drew Ryan
Drew Ryan is a Licensed and Board Certified Athletic Trainer and performance and recovery specialist with nearly a decade of experience helping people move better, recover more fully, and stay active throughout every stage of life.
His approach is shaped by work across collegiate athletics, concierge care, and functional medicine. Drew spent four years at TB12 in Boston, where he was selected as one of two practitioners to travel nationally delivering individualized performance and recovery care. There, he developed deep expertise in soft tissue therapy, movement assessment, and recovery strategies designed to support long-term physical resilience rather than short-term symptom relief.
He later served as Program Director of Performance and Recovery at Five Journeys, where he built and led a comprehensive performance and recovery program within an integrative medicine setting. In that role, he developed systems for evaluation, treatment planning, and long-term progression while helping clients navigate everything from chronic pain and orthopedic concerns to performance optimization and healthy aging.
Earlier in his career, Drew provided care for Division I athletes at East Carolina University, supporting football, track and field, and swim and dive programs. Working closely with physicians, coaches, and healthcare teams, he developed a strong foundation in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and return-to-performance strategies that continues to influence his work today.
Drew holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport Management and Leadership from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Penn State University. He is certified in Dry Needling and Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 and is currently pursuing Massachusetts massage therapy licensure to further expand his hands-on treatment approach.
At the center of Drew’s work is a simple belief: the level of care typically reserved for elite athletes should be available to everyone. Whether helping someone recover from an injury, prepare for a physical challenge, or simply move through daily life with greater confidence, he focuses on understanding the whole person and creating practical, individualized plans that support lasting results.
Outside of work, Drew enjoys skiing and spending time in the kitchen. He lives with his wife, Stephanie, and their dog, Scooter.
